* Job Description:

**** Job Summary
** The Cybersecurity Intern supports Pro Petro's IT security team while gaining hands-on experience. Working under the Information Security Manager, and together with a Cybersecurity Analyst, the Intern helps with security assessments, vulnerability tracking, documentation, and security awareness.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist with risk and vulnerability assessments.
* Help track and document vulnerability fixes.
* Help review and update security policies and procedures.
* Support incident response and disaster recovery exercises.
* Work to resolve IT support tickets related to user access and cybersecurity.
* Research security threats and trends and share findings with the team.
* Help with security awareness content for employees.
* Report potential security concerns to the Information Security team.
* Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always
* utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Other duties as assigned
** Job Qualifications
*** Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* No prior work experience required; cybersecurity coursework, labs, or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
* Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking.
* Eagerness to learn and ability to handle confidential information.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
