We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our established legal team. Whether you're a recently licensed or seasoned attorney, we encourage you to apply! This role is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking team collaboration, true work/life balance, and experience across multiple practice areas. You must currently reside in Midland or be willing to relocate.

• Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with the legal team.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Represent the organization in court, presenting facts, arguing the case, and negotiating settlements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the latest legal developments and trends.
• Provide legal advice to clients on litigation-related matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed attorney
• Ideal experience will be in oil & gas litigation, general civil litigation, commercial litigation, and/or criminal defense.
• Licensed in practice in Texas.
• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools.
