Our team in Midland currently has an opening for a Blend Plant Manager
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Works with ethics, honesty, values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
- Hires and trains employees as required to ensure proper coverage and cross training is provided.
- Creates opportunities for team members to learn, grow and expand their skills and experiences.
- Responsible for all equipment assigned to the Blend Plant including proper maintenance, storage and inventory control.
- Manages the handling of all hazardous materials.
- Develops and maintains schedule for nightly and weekend phone coverage to ensure the best 24/7 customer service.
- Develops strategies and employs tactics for resolving customer conflicts to reduce customer dissatisfaction while sustaining company profitability.
- Ensures that the order entry/invoicing procedures are carried out in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
- Ensures all hiring, disciplinary actions and firing decisions are carried out according to Company policies and with all applicable laws.
- Fosters a positive working relationship with co-workers, staff, customers, clients and management.
- Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis.
- Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related field, with two (2) years of management experience required.
- Must be comfortable in an environment that is occasionally high stress.
- Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Requires a high familiarity with products and services the Company offers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management.
