Position Overview
We are seeking a CSAT Integration Technician to support the hands‑on integration of satellite subsystems and harness assemblies. This role is focused on precision electronics integration, cable and harness dressing, soldering, and mechanical fitment during satellite build activities. The CSAT Integration Technician will work closely with integration leads and engineers to identify issues during build, prevent damage during assembly, and ensure work is performed to documented procedures and quality standards.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize when integration steps are being performed incorrectly, and the confidence to escalated issues before hardware is damaged.
This position is assigned to Shift 2, working Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m. Depending on business needs, this role may also have opportunities on:

- Terminate, route, dress, and secure wire harnesses per drawings, work instructions, and IPC standards
- Perform soldering, rework, and inspection on flight and non‑flight hardware as required
- Integrate mechanical and electrical assemblies while ensuring no damage occurs during installation
- Identify integration issues, fitment conflicts, or process gaps and communicate them to integration leads and engineers
- Recognize when improper techniques or procedures could result in hardware damage and stop work when necessary
- Support troubleshooting of integration‑related issues identified by the integration team
- Follow ESD, cleanliness, and aerospace quality standards at all times
- Document issues, discrepancies, and lessons learned during integration activities
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering, quality, and test teams during CSAT build and integration
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electronics, aerospace, or manufacturing preferred
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in electronics integration, aerospace manufacturing, or complex electromechanical assembly
- Hands‑on experience with wire harness fabrication, termination, and dressing
- Experience soldering to IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610 / J‑STD‑001 preferred)
- Experience working on satellites, spacecraft, or high‑reliability aerospace systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, harness drawings, and mechanical assembly drawings
- Experience identifying and preventing hardware damage during integration activities
- Prior experience working in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to recognize problems early and communicate clearly with leads and engineers
- Comfortable taking direction while also speaking up when work is being performed incorrectly
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to work methodically under schedule pressure
- Hand tools for electronics and mechanical integration
- Soldering and rework equipment
- Electrical schematics, harness drawings, and work instructions
- MES or digital work instruction systems (experience preferred, not required)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and integration environment
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required
