Maintenance Technician

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NOV safety standards and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Job Duties

• Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to perform electrical tests and repairs.
• Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and PLC automation to resolve issues efficiently.
• Work closely with technicians, operators, and supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Document repair activities, root causes, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC automation and ladder logic preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per month as required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.
• Skilled in safe and effective use of test instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
