My Michigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the established Trauma and General Surgery Team in Midland, Michigan!
- Full time, day shift
- Rotating shift, comprised of 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts
- 7 days a week coverage, distributed amongst APPs within the group
- 100% inpatient (no clinic responsibilities)
My Michigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the established Trauma and General Surgery Team in Midland, Michigan!
- Full time, day shift
- Rotating shift, comprised of 12-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts
- 7 days a week coverage, distributed amongst APPs within the group
- 100% inpatient (no clinic responsibilities)
- Respond to trauma activations and perform admissions and consults for the trauma and general surgery team, as well as interpretation/treatment of testing and daily rounding
- First call for ER consults, activations and nursing questions
- Bedside procedures including chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, laceration repair
- Variety of patient care, including ICU management, step down and general floor level patients
- AHA approved BLS Certification
- AHA approved ACLS Certification
- ATLS Certification required prior to completion of orientation
- Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- One year of experience with surgical specialties preferred, new grads will be considered
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of My Michigan Health's credentialing process
- Robust onboarding and training program
