Operating Room Manager – Choice Care Surgery Center

Choice Care Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Manager for a 3‑room outpatient surgical facility with 2 treatment rooms and 2 cath labs. The position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Responsibilities

As OR Manager, you will:

  • Oversee surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
  • Manage all departmental functions to support the facility’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Identify and implement cost‑effective systems, considering business trends and resource availability.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers, and vendors.
  • Use customer‑satisfaction data and employee input to identify and remediate issues continuously.
  • Work with senior management to achieve facility goals.
  • Assist as an RN Circulator or Scrub Tech as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Baccalaureate degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years’ experience as circulator in surgery.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management, including pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op care.
  • Current Texas RN license with BLS.
  • CNOR preferred.
  • Independent decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
