Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Midland, TX | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

• Rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas (post-partum not included)
• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support maternal and neonatal patient outcomes
• Expected to work some holidays as part of the rotation schedule

• Active RN license (pending license accepted at submission; must be active before start date)
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• On-site drug screening required; panels include Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine — failure will result in cancellation of assignment

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit with exposure to multiple care areas within the department
• Contract engagement with a preferred start within the next 3–5 weeks and a minimum 13-week assignment
