Overview

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.

• Be a Team Member:
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross functional teams; help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business; work in other areas as needed; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
• Be an Expert:
  Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage stock using perpetual inventory techniques; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Act as an advocate for the department and the club; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; pursue opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
