Account Manager – Public Sector – Field Based (UK) at Ricoh UK.

What you will be doing- Identify and engage sales opportunities within the allocated existing and new customer base to drive forward assigned sales targets.
- Maintain regular engagement with customers to build relationships and showcase new ideas and creative solutions, driving year‑on‑year growth.
- Apply a proactive consultative and value‑based selling approach as the key contact for customers, develop sales proposals, protect margins and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Enhance Ricoh’s brand and credibility as a Digital Services Business, becoming a trusted partner within the industry.
- Reduce complexity and risk for customers by helping them make the right purchasing decisions that fit their long‑term strategy.
- Identify key stakeholders and personas through strategic account plans and account assessments, and use this data to drive future sales opportunities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of sales data in all relevant systems, enabling effective analysis of opportunities, pipeline and account interactions.
- Experience in B2B Public Sector account sales.
- Proven track‑record of managing the end‑to‑end sales process.
- Ability to articulate Ricoh’s portfolio at the C Suite level.
- Proficient in identifying and engaging multiple key stakeholders.
- Strong questioning, active listening and presentation skills.
- Trust‑building and positive customer engagement.
- Resilience, risk management and an empathetic selling approach.
- Deep understanding of the customer’s business, economic drivers and value proposition.
- Commercial awareness and continuous market knowledge.
- Open, confident communication, even when presenting alternative views.
