Slickline Assistant

The assistant will support Slickline Operators in rigging up equipment and installing equipment onto wellsite trees to perform slickline work.

Location: Midland, TX

• Install and remove tree caps using appropriate tools
• Assist in assembling lubricators for running service tools
• Help the Operator install the wireline valve
• Complete the makeup of the stuffing box onto the lubricator
• Maintain, service, and clean tools and equipment
• Perform other assigned tasks
• Must have a clean driving record with a Class “A” or “B” CDL license

• Pass a DOT physical
• Work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and high humidity
• Work in toxic environments (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas) with full-face respiratory equipment weighing approximately 30 lbs.
• Work at remote locations, approximately 2 hours from medical facilities
• Work comfortably up to 15 feet above ground with appropriate fall protection
• Lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Engage in physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, and bending
