Power & HVAC Road Technician - Level 1

Road Technician (Pump and Power Road) – Pump and Power Road Technician 1

Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible, emphasizing swift return of equipment to service to minimize downtime.

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump & power equipment
• DOT Physical Examination (medical card)
• EPA Section 608 universal certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Understanding of basic refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers
• Familiarity with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors
• Knowledge of compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/after cooler)
• Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more, with work performed both indoors and outdoors as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

$25.94 – $37.28 per hour (starting rate varies with location, education, training, and experience).

Eligibility for benefits begins the first of the month following 30 days from the start date.
