Poly Fusion Technician

Our client is a growing piping solutions company, and they're seeking multiple experienced Poly Fusion Technicians to join their field team in the Midland, TX area. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on HDPE/PE pipe fusion experience who enjoys working in the field and supporting utility, industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, a company vehicle, and travel support.

• $25–$28 per hour, based on experience

• Perform HDPE/PE pipe fusion, including butt fusion, electrofusion, and saddle fusion
• Set up and operate pipe fusion equipment to meet project specifications
• Prepare, align, fuse, and inspect pipe and fittings to ensure quality connections
• Operate fusion machines, with McElroy equipment experience preferred
• Complete fusion logs, quality records, and required project documentation
• Work alongside field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and quality standards

• At least 3 years of hands-on HDPE/PE pipe fusion experience
• Strong knowledge of butt fusion procedures and equipment operation
• Experience preparing and inspecting fused pipe joints
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as project needs require
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Experience with McElroy fusion equipment, including Trac Star, Mega Mc, or Pit Bull machines
• Background in utility construction, pipeline installation, water transfer, or industrial piping
• Experience maintaining fusion documentation and following project specifications
