Excellent Client In Midland Is seeking aSandblaster/Yard Hand

Job duties:

Operate sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, grease, rust, and old paint from industrial equipment and surfaces.

Ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and cleaned before applying new coatings or paint.

Monitor and adjust the pressure and flow of abrasive materials to ensure proper blasting of surfaces.

Follow safety procedures and protocols to protect themselves and other workers from potential hazards.

Inspect and maintain sandblasting equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.

Communicate with supervisors and other workers to coordinate the schedule and assignment of sandblasting tasks.

Document and report any issues or incidents related to sandblasting operations to supervisors or management.

Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/upper management

Physical endurance and strength to handle sandblasting equipment and materials for extended periods of time Ability to carry up to 50 pounds

Bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time, and climbing2 plus years’ experience preferred with painting equipment and sandblast equipment. Ability to mix and prepare paint followingpainterdirections, clean and maintain paint and blast equipment

Able to operate forklift and man lift Ability to use forklift and man lift,work at heights

High level of safety awareness

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to sandblasting operations

Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to work in all weather conditions

Flexibility to work in different environments and locations, including confined spaces and heights
