We are seeking a Locums Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to provide weekend call and clinical coverage in Midlothian, VA. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative care in a high-acuity, collaborative practice setting.
Position Details- Schedule:
- Weekend Call:
Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM - Clinic
Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:15 PM
- Weekend Call:
- Practice Setting:
Outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage - Average Patient Volume:
Approximately 27 scheduled patients per day
- High-risk obstetric care, including management of:
- Pre-eclampsia and hypertension
- Multiple gestations
- Fetal growth restriction
- Preterm labor
- Thrombophilia and genetic disorders
- Chromosomal and congenital abnormalities
- Maternal and fetal co‑morbidities
- Procedures include:
- Amniocentesis
- Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
- Cerclage (preferred)
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Completion of an accredited MFM fellowship
- Active Virginia medical license
BLS certification - AIUM certification preferred
