Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician (Data Center) - Dallas, Texas

A Water Treatment Chemical Technician will be responsible for working at a customer's data center in the Dallas Fort Worth area
. The technician will solve water treatment concerns, perform extensive lab work, and troubleshoot water treatment and control equipment at massive data centers.

As a Chemical Service Technician, you will receive a competitive salary, expenses, and benefits. In addition, ample technical support and continuous training are provided. Compensation is based on experience and ability to succeed and ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 for a qualified candidate, plus a year‑end bonus.

• Solve customers’ water problems
• Treat industrial cooling towers to keep them energy efficient and environmentally friendly
• Perform detailed water testing and analyses at a data center
• Help deliver on customer KPIs and promote Garratt‑Callahan solutions including proprietary chemical blends, equipment, and monitoring technology
• Report directly to the Site Manager
• Maintain customer satisfaction and safety

You will be a successful applicant if you have a 4‑year technical degree in the sciences (chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, mechanical engineering, paper science, or water resources). A 4‑year technical degree is required.

A successful applicant must have experience or interest in advanced water treatment technologies, be detail‑oriented, adhere to safety protocols, and be able to lift 50 pounds while wearing PPE in all weather conditions.

Preferred experience includes one year technical sales or an internship related to water treatment chemicals. Outside industrial sales experience is a plus. You must live in or near Dallas‑Fort Worth and be familiar with the local industrial marketplace.

• Familiarity with industrial cooling towers
• Knowledge and proficiency with lab procedures, water equipment, and water chemistry
• Ability to provide virtual presentations to a group
• Experience working in a team setting as a collaborative partner
