Telemetry Technician – PRN – Medical/Surgical
Days Of Week: Monday‑Friday; with alternating weekends
Hours Of Work: 0545‑1800; 12 hrs per week
Job Purpose:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care for patients.
- Provide continual observation and documentation of rhythms during code situations, notifying physicians and staff.
- Perform skilled clerical and receptionist duties.
Education:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Job Requirements:
- Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation.
- Complete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score.
Licenses and/or
Certifications:
- Complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation.
- Complete an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score.
Work Experience:
- At least six months work experience preferred.
