Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with more than 500+ franchise locations in the United States and Canada. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to expand the Pure Barre community.

This is a role that involves daily interaction with clients to create a supportive and meaningful community.

POSITION:

The purpose of the Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and guiding them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining and providing unmatched customer service to current members. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required.

Shifts available include mornings Monday–Friday 8:00am–2:00pm and evenings Monday–Friday 4:00pm–8:00pm, plus weekend rotation.

• Execute the sales process of lead generation, follow-up, and close
• Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and assessing individual goals and needs
• Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production
• Emphasize and reinforce the club’s objectives as a fitness and wellness provider
• Present available services to current or prospective members
• Book quality appointments to help achieve monthly sales quotas
• Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the club
• Develop selling skills through ongoing training
• Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
• Follow up and follow-through activities with prospective clients
• Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
• Attend and complete all relative training programs
• Take pictures for social media platforms
• Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient computer skills
• Authorization to work in the United States

Compensation: starts at $12.50/hr with a free membership to the 3 RVA Pure Barre studios, plus bonuses and commissions. You will be expected to make a minimum of 20 phone calls per shift to prospective members, along with emails and texting.

We are looking for long-term candidates who can work independently in a sales-heavy environment, have an outgoing personality, enjoy talking with people, and demonstrate phone etiquette with eagerness to learn and promote all things Pure Barre.

We do not make cold calls. We obtain people’s information because they provide it to us. This is a sales position with continuous activity; the team sets monthly goals essential to the studio’s health and success.

Due to COVID-19, health and safety are a priority. The role includes maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the studio and equipment as part of daily duties.
