This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation, a secure forward order book, and a varied portfolio of high-profile projects across Scotland.
The Project Portfolio You’ll be involved in the commercial delivery of a diverse range of live and upcoming projects, including:45m major refurbishment & fit-out project (Edinburgh city centre)20m warehousing / industrial development
65m new-build education facility
The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with site teams, commercial managers and key stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:
Full commercial management of live projects
Procurement and management of subcontract packages
Valuations, CVRs, forecasting and reporting
Managing variations and change control
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
Working collaboratively with project and delivery teams to protect commercial outcomes
About You Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
Experience delivering large-scale new build, refurbishment or fit-out projects
Strong understanding of commercial processes, cost control and subcontract management
Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal teams and external stakeholders
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
