location: oriam - scotland's sports performance centre, edinburgh, eh14 4as, and away fixture venues.
salary: competitive salary plus excellent employee benefits.
hours: part-time, 12 hours per week.

3 nights training per week, and one weekend matchday. Days and timings subject to change depending on the academy training and matchday schedule.

heart of midlothian football club, a cornerstone of scottish football since 1874, is entering an exciting new chapter - and we want you to be part of it. We have an exciting opportunity for an academy coach to work within our elite academy.

we are recruiting for 2 coaching roles, one working with our children's academy and the other working with our youth academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with elite football academy coaching experience who is passionate about developing talented young players.

• work with the assigned age group at training and on matchdays.
• plan and deliver high quality and engaging training sessions.
• understand and implement the academy game model and hearts position specific criteria.
• assess and monitor player progress, in line with individual player development plans.
• deliver iterative feedback to players and their parents/carers, adhering to academy review guidelines.
• reflect and evaluate training sessions and coaching style, to continuously develop as a coach.

• scottish fa advanced children's licence or enrolled on the course (children's academy role).
• uefa elite youth license or uefa a license or enrolled on the course (youth academy role).
• currently based in edinburgh or can reliably commute to edinburgh and other matchday locations.
• able to evidence the legal right to work in the uk.
• valid uk driving license.
• able to commit to working 3 mid-week evening training sessions per week, and one weekend matchday depending upon the academy schedule.
