Position: Mechanical Engineer (All Levels)
Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services | Scotland An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Building Services team in Scotland.

The business delivers a broad range of projects across sectors including Defence, Healthcare, Education, Science, Industrial and Commercial developments, working as part of integrated design teams alongside civil, structural, project management and environmental specialists.

The Role This position will involve leading and supporting the delivery of medium to large-scale projects from concept design through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical design, client engagement and project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to handover.
• Prepare technical specifications, schedules, reports and design documentation.
• Attend client and project meetings, acting as a key technical representative.
• Produce feasibility studies, planning reports and detailed design information.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors.
• Support the delivery of sustainable, low-energy building solutions.

Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering building services designs across sectors such as healthcare, education, science, defence or commercial projects.
• Strong technical design capabilities including calculations, specifications and technical reporting.
• Experience managing projects through all design stages.
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Revit and CAD software.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
