Job Description:

Salary:  53,000 - 58,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your impact

Manage associated materials in line with MRP requirements and ensure the IPT/LOB are aware of any material issues that will affect shop floor production and significant sales milestones.  Diligently manage and maintain any internal/external dependencies ensuring the relevant IPT and material acquisition team are aware of any potential issues/risks likely to impact the delivery of material.

What you’ll bring

Attend and support meetings in line with the demand/supply/capacity model and present supply review reports at LOB supply review.

Create, expedite and report on all internal dependencies and be the voice into the IPT to ensure timely closure.

Attend monthly local Contract Status Reviews (CSR’s) and present material risks/updates via the CSR material report.

Develop appropriate relationships and act as the interface with Buyer and LOB IPT‘s to understand material issues and close them out in line with MRP requirements.

Proactively interface with IPT and Planning Manager to mitigate production material supply risks (rebalancing supply/re planning where necessary)
Promote a culture of Best Practice in Material Supply sharing knowledge within the function and within the wider business.

Support management of obsolete material and proposed LTB’s to ensure seamless material supply transition in line with MRP requirements.

Attend and support the MRB/FRB process, ensuring all external material supply information is flowed and is a conduit into execution team.

Attend Change Control Board (CCB) and take ownership of supply actions including supplier sheet responses and impact to delivery schedule and impact to BOM/build schedule.

Support Material Acquisition team with supplier recovery plans and communicate all relevant updates to the IPT/LOB.This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
