Solicitor​/Associate - Personal Injury - PQE

Position: Solicitor/Associate - Personal Injury - 5 years PQE+
This is an opportunity to be parted of a high-performing litigation team, combining technical legal work with people leadership, strategic input and career development responsibilities.

Working across a broad range of personal injury, motor, EL/PL and related claims, you'll be entrusted with managing complex and high-value matters while leading a team of solicitors to deliver exceptional results for clients. This is a position where your expertise will be valued, your leadership skills will be developed, and your contribution will directly influence the success of the wider business.

What You'll Be Doing Leading, mentoring and developing a team of solicitors

Managing a caseload of complex and litigated claims

Providing technical guidance on liability, causation and quantum issues

Conducting hearings and overseeing cases through the Scottish courts

Reviewing and approving legal documentation and pleadings

Driving quality standards, compliance and best practice across the team Building strong relationships with clients, insurers, experts and stakeholders

Supporting business growth initiatives and operational improvements

What We're Looking For:

Scottish qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQEStrong background in civil litigation, personal injury, insurance litigation or motor claims

Experience appearing in the Sheriff Court and a sound understanding of Scottish court procedures

Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skillsA natural leader with experience supervising, coaching or mentoring others

Commercial awareness and a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients and the business
