The Opportunity We are working in partnership with a well-established property consultancy to appoint a Building Surveying Director to join their senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities Contribute to and help shape the overall business strategy

Drive business development activities, securing new work and growing existing client relationships

Take ownership of financial performance, including revenue generation, fees, and profitability

Oversee the delivery of building surveying services, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction

Lead, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring effective resource management and progression

Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, stakeholders, and partners

Support bid preparation and play a key role in winning new instructions

About YouMRICS qualified with significant post-qualification experience

Strong background in delivering building surveying services across a range of sectors

Demonstrable experience in winning work and developing client relationships

Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of financial performance and service delivery

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop teams

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
