Automotive Service Technician

• Efficiently perform all tasks outlined in the repair order, adhering strictly to the dealership's quality standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle test drives and evaluate components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Maintain clear, direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of any additional service needs and receive accurate estimates of the time required to complete these repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications to ensure compliance and quality.

• Possession of a valid driver's license
• Proficient in diagnostic abilities in electrical, transmission, and engine systems
• Strong maintenance and repair expertise
• The capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to excel in this role
• Reliable, dependable, and consistently maintains a positive attitude
• AVirginia State Inspector's License is preferred
• This position is not a trainee role or an express (lube technician) service role
