• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications – Cardiac & EP Lab

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state (Virginia nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• EPIC EHR experience preferred
• Critical care nursing experience and conscious sedation skills required
• Ability to float to Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed
• Experience with cardiac mapping (Carto) and monitoring/running pacing systems for ablations
• Scrubbing experience preferred

EP Lab RN Responsibilities – Healthcare Jobs in Virginia

• Monitor and circulate for cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, AICDs, BIVs, and loop recorders
• Perform and monitor cardiac procedures including SVT, AFLUTTER, AV NODE Ablations (St. Jude EP 4 stimulator)
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and conscious sedation safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Cath Lab and IR as needed
• Serve as a patient safety advocate and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families, supporting them throughout procedures and recovery
