Position: Behavior Technician (BT)

Behavior Technician (BT) – Advanceable ABA

Location: Midlothian, VA and surrounding areas (home‑based in‑home ABA therapy)

Base Pay Range: $21.00/hr – $25.00/hr (may increase with RBT certification)

About the Role

This is a home‑based ABA therapy position. You will deliver 1:1 in‑home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll help children with autism reach goals while staying engaged, playful, and active.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Track progress through accurate session data and notes
• Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success
• Stay physically active during sessions (sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc.)

Training & Certification Support

• Paid onboarding training
• 40‑hour RBT course included
• Mentoring and supervision throughout
• Support to obtain RBT certification if not yet certified

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Already certified as an RBT? Great! Not yet? We’ll support your path to certification

Schedule & Hours

• Part‑time and full‑time positions available
• Afternoon and after‑school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs
