Are you a passionate Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in cardiology? Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center is actively seeking a highly motivated Inpatient Cardiology NP to join our well-established cardiovascular team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a 200-bed medical center alongside leading non-invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiologists in a collaborative inpatient setting.

• Consistent weekday schedule (M-F, 8-5) with NO call

As an Inpatient Cardiology NP, you will:

• Manage cardiology consultations and referrals for adult patients (ages 18+)
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists across subspecialties to coordinate and manage inpatient care
• Exercise independent clinical judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications and therapies, and ensure smooth transitions of care
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans
• Facilitate timely referrals for procedures and specialty consults

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia - required
• Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Certification - required
• BLS & ACLS Certification - required
• Inpatient cardiology or acute care experience - strongly preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
