About the hospital:
Brandermill Animal Hospital in Midlothian, Virginia (a Richmond suburb) is searching for a veterinary extern to join our hard working, fun-loving 3 DVM practice. We are extremely proud of our positive culture‑join us for a low‑pressure “get to know you” visit to witness it firsthand!

Our ideal candidate is warm, caring and confident and enjoys collaboration with our experienced DVM & technician team.

• Mentorship from multiple strong veterinarians who are excited to welcome a student
• Team has strong clinical skills in the areas of wellness and dentistry
• Gain experience with basic and routine surgeries
• Work in an AAHA accredited hospital
• Fully equipped with in-house lab capabilities, digital x‑ray, and ultrasound
• Excellent culture, collaborative environment, and low turnover

• Stipend to offset the cost of housing and travel
• Opportunities to connect with multiple Vet Evolve practices

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path)
