The Food & Beverage team ensures product is fresh, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Typical responsibilities include delivering an exceptional guest experience, upholding standards, executing food and beverage processes, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and supporting guest services across various channels.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards, brand standards and food safety standards
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and backstock
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and ensure a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and safety
• Support Drive Up and digital guest orders to be fulfilled accurately and on time
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations
• Produce items to specifications and follow department routines
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
• Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
• Follow packaging and labeling guidelines and food safety requirements
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process accordingly
• Ensure accurate in-stocks and inventory procedures
• Follow perishable inventory procedures and execute sampling best practices
• Greet guests authentically and engage with them to understand their needs
• Know the tools, products and services available to solve guest issues
• Thank guests for shopping at Target
• Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely, identify hazards and comply with safety policies
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up while complying with laws

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience is preferred but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
