Dietary Aide​/Server

Forefront Healthcare is hiring a Dietary Aide/Server for our Independent Living Dining Room at Midlothian, VA. You will be part of a team that supports you. The position offers training from our Director of Culinary to succeed in the role. Salary is $14.50/hour
, flexible depending on experience.

• Set up dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines and dietary needs.
• Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Record temperatures for refrigerators and ensure proper stocking and sanitation.
• Follow federal, state, and organizational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• 1 year of food service experience preferred but not required
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong communication skills with all levels within the community
• Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments
• Team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Serv Safe is desirable but not required

High school diploma or GED
