Crew Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for Shift Leaders or Crew Members

• $15-20 per hour total compensation includes $13/hour base pay + tips (base pay determined by position applied for and experience/qualifications. $15 per hour minimum for entry-level with zero experience or qualifications)
• Free regular size sandwich plus free drink refills each shift

• Paid Training in our own Training Facility.
• No experience necessary
• Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

• Must be 16 years of age or older due to equipment age-restrictions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
• Operate POS system and cash register accurately for transactions.
• Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
• Learn and adapt to different roles within the restaurant environment.
• Participate in both Training Center programs, typically Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm (Training Center is in the back of our Jersey Mike's located at 11413 Midlothian Turnpike)

• Demonstrate excellent menu and product knowledge
• Desire to improve self and skill sets
• Able to communicate effectively with guests, as well as employees, and have an awesome personality
• Ability to meet schedule requirements and be a reliable performer

• Capability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
• Frequent, repetitive motion of shoulder and elbow to operate the slicer (if 18 and older only)
• Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

You will utilize core skills such as POS operation, cash handling, and food service to assist customers and maintain a clean workspace.
