Job Description This unique opportunity invites you to join our growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field‑based Associate Account Executive. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership to shape go‑to‑market strategies and launch groundbreaking cancer screening technologies that directly impact patients’ lives. Your role will primarily promote the Shield colorectal cancer (CRC) blood test to healthcare providers in the primary‑care setting, driving early detection of cancer and reducing healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by prospecting, building relationships, and executing national sales strategies.
  • Target and engage healthcare providers, securing adoption of the Shield test for CRC and other cancers.
  • Use challenger selling techniques to help providers understand how our offerings improve patient outcomes and streamline practice.
  • Educate and support providers with in‑depth product knowledge and training, ensuring full stakeholder engagement for smooth integration of Shield.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (clinical, marketing, product) to align strategies and share feedback.
  • Identify new business opportunities within your territory, expanding reach by partnering with regional and local laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
  • Plan and execute launches, developing business plans that support brand strategy and successful introduction of new screening technologies.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, analyze market trends, gather customer feedback, and report insights to leadership.
  • Maintain high‑touch customer service, resolving issues proactively and supporting providers throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B field‑based, customer‑facing sales experience with a proven record of success; preferred experience selling medical or healthcare products.
  • Strong ability to engage in sales conversations, overcome objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
  • Rapid acquisition of technical product knowledge to drive sales.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information understandably.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and customer service skills; preference for high‑touch, long‑term partnership orientation.

Compensation US Location Base Pay Range: $96,000 – $105,000 (annualized). Bonuses, commissions, and equity are not included.
