Sales Intern

Virginia Green’s Summer Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real projects across a variety of departments.

• Collect accurate data via incoming calls/emails from potential customers for distribution to inside Sales Representatives in a timely manner.
• Verify that all data entered is accurate on each estimate and/or sale.
• Assist in customer retention/lead generation.
• Linking electronic documents to all leads/sold accounts. Including square footage and special instruction for each account daily.
• Identify lead opportunities utilizing Real Green (CRM), or any other lead generating source.
• Alert Production Department of any changes affecting current/upcoming lawn care services.
• Document changes to account for all leads/current customers pertaining to changes in contact information, changes in service, cancellations etc.
• Provides exceptional level of customer service and adhere to Virginia Green’s Sales Process.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

• Must be a college student in good standing:
  Sales, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications majors preferred

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.

$18 - $19 an hour

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
