Tax Accountant

Duties and responsibilities included:

Accounting

• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
• Manage control assessment tracking system CATS (internal Audit)
• Cash flow management

• Fulfill the role of contact point for External Auditors by providing information required and assist with completion of the audit.
• Resolve queries raised by External Auditors to complete audit.
• Assist with External Audit as contact point, info gathering and prep

• Completion of Corporate Income Tax together with all related schedules
• Transfer Pricing
• Deferred and Provisional Tax
• Monthly VAT Returns
• Filings and calculations
• Expat tax returns
• Tax management
• Liaise with SARS

• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist by conducting bi-annual Fixed Asset and Inventory counts
• Complete Fixed Asset Reports

• Assist with month end closing (Full function) to be available to act as back up for Finance Manager.
• Prepare journals for Financial Manager review and ensure accurate recording of Sales, General and Administration Expenses.

• Assist with monthly reports and management of deadlines and targets
• E tax related services

• B Com Accounting/Financial Management (Honors will be an advantage)
• SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA Qualification.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant
