Join an established equipment and services business in a hands-on Project Accountant role combining project costing, management accounting and commercial analysis. You’ll work closely with operations and project teams, keeping a close eye on project performance, profitability and the numbers behind delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Project costing & financial tracking
- Monitor project budgets, costs & profitability
- Management accounts & reporting
- Analyse project variances and cost overruns
- WIP, revenue & cost recognition
- Forecast project financial performance
- Support project budgeting & planning
- Provide commercial insights to management
- Identify cost-saving and margin improvement opportunities
Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting / Management Accounting
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Accounting, Costing or Management Accounting
- Project-based, equipment, engineering or services environment advantageous
- Strong costing & variance analysis experience
- Experience with WIP and project profitability
- Advanced Excel
- ERP experience
- Commercially minded with strong analytical ability
