We are recruiting on behalf of a growing business seeking an Assistant Accountant to support day‑to‑day finance operations, bookkeeping, and month‑end processes within a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Performing bank, credit card, and payment platform reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Processing expense claims and supplier payments
• Supporting month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with intercompany reconciliations and reporting
• Maintaining audit‑ready financial records
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification in progress or completed (SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Previous bookkeeping experience, including AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Good understanding of month‑end processes and general ledger reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership
• Experience with Xero advantageous
• Exposure to multi‑entity environments beneficial
