Job Description
- Greet all arriving visitors and corporate clients with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Answer a busy switchboard and route phone calls to the right team members smoothly.
- Take clear telephone messages and send them to staff quickly through email.
- Keep the reception and front desk area looking tidy, clean, and highly professional.
- Receive daily mail, sign for courier packages, and distribute them to the office.
- Help manage the boardroom calendar and organize refreshments for business meetings.
- Provide basic office support by helping teams with quick data entry and filing.
- Previous experience working at a front desk or operating a multi-line switchboard.
- Good computer skills, especially with everyday programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in everyday business English.
- A professional appearance combined with a positive, helpful, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong time-management skills and the willingness to learn new office tasks.
- A Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification is required for this role.
