About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join their dynamic team in Midrand . This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of service and repair that our client's customers expect. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This is a hands‑on position requiring a deep understanding of automotive systems and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast‑paced workshop environment.

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Execute repairs and replacements with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on challenging repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified Automotive Technician.
• Possession of ASE certifications (A1-A8, G1) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and advanced automotive tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, engine management, and emission controls.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
