About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Master Technician to join their dynamic team in Midrand . This is a crucial role where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with a focus on complex mechanical and electrical issues. You will work in a state-of-the-art workshop, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of automotive systems and a passion for problem-solving, contributing to a team environment dedicated to excellence in automotive repair and customer care.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on complex vehicle issues using advanced tools and equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports to accurately identify and resolve vehicle problems.
- Ensure all work is performed to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards.
- Advise service advisors and customers on recommended repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Master Technician or similar senior role.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certifications) is highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostic skills for both mechanical and electrical automotive systems.
- Proficiency with modern vehicle diagnostic software and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a workshop setting.
