Senior Health & Safety Manager

Applicants must have the following requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or Safety Management.
• Must have a valid SAMTRAC certificate.
• Must have an ISO Internal Auditor qualification.
• Must have Incident Investigation and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) training.
• Registration with the SACPCMP as a Construction Health & Safety Manager will be advantageous.
• Must have at least 10 years of Health & Safety experience within the civil engineering and construction industry, including at least 5 years in a senior Health & Safety management role.
• Must have proven experience managing Health & Safety on large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Must have project experience on one or more of the following: dams, roads, bridges, pipelines, bulk earthworks, water and wastewater treatment works, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Must have experience working with clients such as SANRAL, the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS), Rand Water, Transnet, Eskom, municipalities, or similar public and private sector organisations.
• Must have demonstrated experience managing Health & Safety across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have strong technical knowledge.
