Senior Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of complex building projects in the Midrand area. This pivotal role involves managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to successful project completion and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality control standards on all construction sites.
• Manage procurement processes, including tender evaluations and contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
