Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Site Manager to oversee major civil engineering projects in Midrand . Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage all on-site construction activities , ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Develop and implement detailed project schedules , resource allocation plans, and cost control measures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and motivate site teams, fostering a culture of productivity, collaboration, and safety.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work meets or exceeds required standards and specifications.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in site management within the civil engineering and construction industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and relevant regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., ECSA) is highly advantageous.
