About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in Midrand, Gauteng . This role involves translating architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. You will be a key player in the project lifecycle, from concept development through to construction documentation, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Ensure all drawings and specifications comply with relevant building codes , standards, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design challenges and integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Prepare documentation for planning applications and building permits.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and South African building regulations .
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
