About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Lecturer to join their esteemed Faculty of Education in Midrand . This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality academic instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to curriculum development within the education sector. You will mentor and guide students, foster a stimulating learning environment, and engage in scholarly activities that advance knowledge and practice in teaching and learning.

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in various education disciplines.

• Conduct independent and collaborative research, aiming for publication in reputable academic journals and presentation at conferences.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and administrative tasks as required.

• A PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Education or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in lecturing and curriculum development at the tertiary level.
• A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and a clear research agenda.
• Proven ability to effectively mentor and supervise students at various academic levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
