Overview

Hire Resolve’s client, a leading engineering consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. As a Civil Engineer in the consulting industry, you will be responsible for providing innovative solutions and technical expertise to clients in various sectors such as infrastructure development, transportation, water resources, and environmental projects.

Responsibilities

Conducting site investigations and assessments to gather data and determine project feasibility

Preparing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications

Managing and overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Performing quality control checks and reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standards

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff

Participating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 – 10 years experience as a Resident Engineer

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards

Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or other relevant software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects

Benefits:

Salary: R900K/yr – R700K/yr, negotiable
