PV Specialist

Job Description

A great company is currently seeking a PV Specialist to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. Candidates will take the lead in Solar PV Design, Analysis and Project Management.

Requirements:

• BSc:
Electrical Engineering

• PV Design Specialist Certification or equivalent (PV green card or equivalent)

• Proven Solar and battery system design and construction experience

• Experience in Solar PV and Energy Storage

• Knowledge of and/or experience in understanding of electrical and electronic control circuits

• Experience in energy analytics & power system analytics

• System Modelling – Scope/ design efficient PV systems using Helioscope; PVSyst

• Conformance with relevant Codes and Standards

• Translate system models into project proposals, including financial impact analysis and proposals to clients
