• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for food and beverage processing plants, equipment layouts, piping, and related systems.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, site measurements, and client requirements.
• Develop and update general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts, and as‑built drawings.
• Assist with the design and draughting of stainless‑steel equipment, platforms, conveyors, pipework, tanks, and processing systems.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and issued within required deadlines.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, production teams, and clients to confirm drawing requirements.
• Conduct site visits where required to take measurements and verify existing layouts.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable industry requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control records.
• Assist with material take‑offs and basic technical information for costing or manufacturing purposes.
• Identify and report design clashes, drawing errors, or possible fabrication concerns.
• Support the project team with technical drawing updates throughout the project lifecycle.

• National Senior Certificate
• Relevant draughting qualification or certificate.
• Experience in draughting within the food and beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, or engineering industry required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with 3D draughting software such as Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, Revit, or similar will be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of stainless‑steel fabrication, piping layouts, and processing equipment will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
