Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the mechanical design and development of specialized equipment and engineered solutions
• Taking concepts from idea through design, prototyping, testing and production
• Solving complex mechanical, hydraulic and manufacturing challenges
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, production, suppliers and customers
• Driving continuous improvement and product innovation
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers
• Contributing to the long-term technical strategy of the business

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years post-graduate mechanical design experience
• Proven experience designing heavy industrial, mining, hydraulic, fluid power, mobile equipment or capital equipment systems
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD design software
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and engineering principles
• Ability to balance innovation with practical, commercially viable design solutions
• A demonstrated track record of solving complex engineering challenges
