Why do we need you?
Meet with various stakeholders to confirm risk universe and any other areas which they may deem important; assist and complete risk assessments for each area identified including significant business risk.
Performing Risk-Based Internal control reviews, throughout all business units across Africa
Report to the Business Control Manager on audit assignments performed by the function including planned reviews, risk advisory work and any other ad-hoc activity as required.
Compile reports for discussion with management outlaying control deficiencies and potential remedial action required.
Review of policies and procedures, initiating updating of documents including the integration of the Internal Control Reference Framework Controls and controls to mitigate risks within a process.
Provide advice to the business and department on internal control mechanisms.
Assist in integrating newly acquired businesses by implementing a sound internal control environment.
Is this job for you?This role requires an individual with Matric with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, internal audit, finance, or equivalent. CIA, or relevant financial qualification will be an advantageous. Min 2 years work experience. The ideal candidate must be analytical. Ability to experience to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Your exposure in audit practices: planning and management, engagement planning and execution, reporting and progress monitoring.
The ideal candidate must have strong computer literacy (MS Apps , i.e. Powerapps , excel , office etc.)
To collaborate closely with the Business Control Manager to ensure that all Saint‑Gobain entities comply with the Internal Control Referencial Frameworks, establishing and maintaining a strong control environment that effectively mitigates major risks across the SSA region
